In the ASDA Christmas campaign, actress Julie Walters sets about the tasks of gathering all the ingredients for an extra special Christmas party to be held in a special Xmas Wonderland built outside ASDA Eastlands store in North Manchester. In the run up to Christmas we see Julie, the festive trainee, gathering gifts from George, toys, decorations and food under the stern eye of ASDA party organiser Owen, aided and abetted by the Eastlands colleagues. Once again Patrick Collerton directs, Iris Maor produces.
In the ASDA Value commercials shoppers look on as colleagues in the London Hounslow store create a series of product sculptures in preparation for Xmas. This series of three adverts was directed by Mark Brozel and produced by Iris Maor.
James Nesbitt travels to Bordeaux in the latest of Yipp Films commercials for supermarket chain ASDA. As a wine trainee, James learns all about good wines from ASDA's Master of Wine Philippa Carr and then launches ASDA's new initiative - the Mini Tasters - at ASDA's supercentre in Pudsey. In the latest set of ASDA ads, Ian Wright takes the role of a trainee in the Bristol Bedminster store and learns the craft of the fish counter. Amongst his many tasks, his motivational skills come to the fore as he persuades the Bristolians of the benefits of fish, especially fish cooked in a special ASDA bag. The third in Yipp’s series of commercials for ASDA sees Liza Tarbuck (Linda Green, Big Breakfast) manning the tills and rocking the mic in ASDA’s Isle of Dogs store. It’s a celebration of ASDA winning the lowest price supermarket award for the tenth year running and the ads were directed by Patrick Collerton, produced by Iris Maor.
The second collection of adverts in this ongoing campaign for supermarket chain ASDA sees comedian Paul Whitehouse taking the role of trainee Milk Monitor at an ASDA store in Wakefield. The adverts were shot on location in Yorkshire and were directed by Patrick Collerton and produced by Iris Maor.
Yipp Films has produced the first of a series of commercials for leading supermarket ASDA. The first collection of ads feature Victoria Wood working in an ASDA bakery in Boldon. They are directed by Patrick Collerton and produced by Iris Maor. These commercials are the first in an ongoing campaign for ASDA produced by Yipp Films that feature celebrities in real life supermarket situations. The films are shot on two 16mm cameras in a documentary style for Agency of the Year, Fallon.
